Library Board Trustee Opening

The Grafton Community Library Board of Trustees Recruiting for New Trustees

Is one of your New Year’s Resolutions to make a difference in your community?  If so, please consider becoming a Library Trustee.  The library has openings for Trustees starting in January.  The Library Board has the final responsibility to see that our library provides the best possible service to our community.  A library trustee’s commitment is to both the physical property and resources of the library and the services it provides. Our Library Board of Trustees is a working board.   The Trustee term is three years.  Duties include being an advocate for the library, committee work (such as financial, grants, building and grounds, policies, etc.), fundraising, monthly meetings, and manual labor (if capable) such as painting or routine maintenance.  For further Library information, please go to and click on “About Our Library”.   Don’t want the 3-year Trustee commitment, please consider becoming a Friend of the Library.   Friends of the library work on specific library projects in conjunction with a Trustee or the library staff.   If interested, please contact Leanna Sweet at 518-279-1386 or Estella Hovnanian at 518-423-3364.  Thank you for this consideration.  Leanna and Estella, Co-Presidents, Board of Trustees
